2. Inspect motor high speed operation as follows:
a. Connect positive from battery to terminal 2 and negative lead to terminal 1. Ensure motor operates at high speed. If not, replace motor.
3. Inspect stopping at stop position as follows:
a. Operate motor at low speed and stop motor by disconnecting terminal 3. Stop at any position except stop position.
b. On 1993-94 models, connect jumper between terminals 3 and 4. Connect battery positive to terminal 5 and negative to terminal 1.
c. On 1995-96 models, connect jumper between terminals 3 and 5. Connect battery positive to terminal 6 and negative to terminal 1.
d. On all models, ensure motor goes to stop position. If not, replace motor.
4. Inspect wiring to motor as follows:
a. Disconnect wiper motor connector.
b. Test terminals at wiper connector as shown in Figs. 39 and 40. If performance is not as specified, inspect all other parts of wiper circuit.
