Clutch Hydraulic System: Service and Repair
1. If any service is performed on the clutch system or air is suspected in the clutch lines, bleed the system.2. Fill clutch reservoir with suitable brake fluid.
3. Do not allow fluid to come in contact with painted surfaces. If fluid does spill, immediately flood area with water.
4. Check reservoir frequently, add fluid as required.
5. Connect vinyl tube to bleeder plug, then insert other tube end in half full container of brake fluid.
6. Slowly pump clutch pedal several times.
7. While depressing, pedal, loosen bleeder plug until fluid runs out, then close bleeder plug.
8. Repeat procedure until air bubbles are no longer evident in fluid. Do not reuse fluid.
