Warranty Information








Perform repairs as necessary per the listed inspection procedure. Submit warranty claims for actual repairs performed using the operation codes.

For Tire Replacement:

^ Tire cost must be entered in sublet.

^ The sublet type "TY" must be used.

* The Diagnostic Procedure includes all inspections performed in the repair procedure, specifically: Inspect tire runout, front brake rotor runout, front hub runout, on-car balance of front tires, and road test.

This additional Diagnostic Procedure time will be allowed on only one warranty claim. This time is included in operation code ST8001 or can be claimed as "Z" time with operation codes 434021, 473011, and 420091. If multiple claims are submitted with this additional time, the claims will be returned for correction.

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's complaint.

NOTE:
For Tire Replacement: Please follow special claim coding instructions included in this bulletin.

^ NO Tire Goodwill claims will be accepted for this condition.

^ Lexus Dealers SHOULD NOT refer Lexus customers to tire outlets for tire replacement.
