Front





REMOVAL
1. Remove front wheels.
Torque: 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
2. Remove engine under cover.
3. Remove both of side stabilizer bar links.
Remove the four nuts and the two stabilizer bar links from the stabilizer bar and lower suspension arm.
Torque: 74 Nm (54 ft. lbs.).





HINT: If the ball joint stud turns together with the nut, use a 5 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

4. Remove the stabilizer bar.
Remove the four bracket mounting bolts and stabilizer bar with the two bushings and brackets.
Torque: 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove two bushings and brackets.





HINT: At the time of installation, Install the bushing to the outside of the paint line.

INSPECTION
1. Inspect stabilizer bar link ball joint for rotation condition.





a. As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth five times, before installing the nut.
b. Using a torque wrench, turn the stud continuously one turn each 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the fifth turn.
Turning torque: 0.05 - 1.0 Nm (0.4 - 8.7 inch lbs.).

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
