REMOVAL
1. Disconnect tailpipe.
2. Remove both side stabilizer bar links.
Remove the four nuts and two stabilizer bar links.
Torque: 74 Nm (54 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove stabilizer bar.
Remove the four bolts and stabilizer bar with the two brackets, two bushings and two links.
Torque: 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove both side bushings and brackets.
HINT: At the time of installation, install the bushing to the outside of the paint line.
INSPECTION
1. Inspect stabilizer bar link ball joint for rotation condition.
a. As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth five times, before installing the nut.
b. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously one turn each 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning torque: 0.05 - 1.0 Nm (2.6 - 8.7 inch lbs.).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
