REMOVAL1. REMOVE BOTH STABILIZER BAR LINKS
a. Remove the bolt and nut.
Torque: 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the nut and stabilizer bar link.
Torque: 65 Nm (660 kgf-cm, 48 ft. lbs.)
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
2. REMOVE STABILIZER BAR
a. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 stabilizer bar brackets from the suspension member.
Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.)
b. Remove the stabilizer bar.
c. Remove the 2 bushings from the stabilizer bar.
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT BALL JOINT FOR ROTATION CONDITION
a. As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.
b. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously one turn per 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning torque: 0.05-1.0 Nm (0.5-10 kgf-cm, 0.4-9 inch lbs.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
