To reduce the possibility of a rattle from the glove box, a modification has been developed.

Repair Procedure





Add a piece of felt (thickness: 1 mm, diameter: 8 mm) along the edge of the Glove Box Assembly Door that contacts the Glove Box Switch as indicated.

NOTE:
Be sure that felt is not visible when the glove box assembly is closed.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
