This Technical Service Bulletin informs you of a change in configuration of the brake pipe fitting flare for the 2000 Model Year vehicles listed below.

NOTE:
The 'S' type brake pipe fitting and 'D' type brake pipe fitting are NOT interchangeable. When ordering replacement parts, please check the part number in the parts catalogue and also ensure that a brake pipe fitting with the appropriate flare profile end is installed.







PRODUCTION EFFECTIVE:

IDENTIFICATION METHOD:







1. The 'S' type brake pipe fitting has identification grooves on the flare nut and 2-way union as shown.







2. The 'S' type brake pipe fitting has identification grooves on the 3-way union and flexible hose as shown.







3. Models that have undergone a minor change, i.e. vehicles other than full model change and new models have a label stuck near the brake fluid reservoir in the engine compartment as illustrated.
