Rear Seat
REMOVAL1. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Pull up the front portion of the seat cushion assembly and remove it.
2. REMOVE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 headrests.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the seat belt from the shoulder belt guide as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Rip the seatback open and remove the nut.
HINT: Do the same for RH and LH.
d. Remove the 4 bolts.
e. Pull up the seatback assembly to remove it.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
HINT: Before installation, confirm that the seat belts are positioned.
a. Mount the seatback assembly to the body.
HINT: Hook the frames on the stud bolts on the body side.
b. Rip the seatback cover open and install the nut.
HINT: Do the same for RH and LH.
Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
c. Install the 4 bolts.
Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
d. Install the seat belt to the shoulder belt guide.
2. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Pass the seat cushion wire to seatback.
b. Push down the cushion to install the hook to the body panel.
HINT: Confirm that the seat is installed firmly.
