Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL




1. REMOVE DOOR STRIKER COVER
Pull up the cover and remove it.

2. REMOVE FLOOR MAT




3. REMOVE TRIM REAR COVER
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.
b. Pull up the cover to remove it.




4. REMOVE TRIM FRONT COVER
Remove the 2 screws and cover.




5. REMOVE LH SIDE COVER
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and cover.




6. REMOVE RH SIDE COVER
a. Push the plate through to the back of the cover.
b. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and cover.




7. REMOVE DOOR TRIM
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 16 clips.
b. Pull the trim to remove it.




8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR
Remove the 4 bolts and luggage compartment door.

Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 74 in.lbf)




9. REMOVE WEATHERSTRIP
Pull out the weatherstrip by hand and remove it.

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION AND SEATBACK
2. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISHES
3. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM




4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE
a. Remove the hinge pin.
b. Remove the clip.
c. Loosen the bolt.

Torque: 22 N.m (225 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)

d. Disconnect the door support.




e. Remove the door support.

5. IF NECESSARY, REPLACE DOOR SUPPORT

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
