Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL




1. REMOVE FENDER LINER
2. Low beam:
REMOVE HEADLIGHT

a. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and the headlight.
b. Disconnect the connectors.

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
After installing the headlight, adjust the light aiming.

c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.




3. REMOVE UPPER BUMPER RETAINER
a. Remove the hood seal.
b. Remove the 5 screws and upper bumper retainer.




4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER
a. Remove the headlight side bolt.

NOTE: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
When installing the front bumper on the body, be careful not to damage the serrated part of side bolts.




b. Remove the 3 clips.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.




d. Remove the clip and ambient temperature sensor.




e. Remove the 4 nuts.

Torque: 5.9 N.m (60 kgf.cm, 52 in.lbf)

f. Remove the 4 clips and 2 side retainers.
g. Remove the 5 clips and center retainer.
h. Disconnect the connectors.
i. Remove the front bumper.

5. REMOVE REINFORCEMENT
Remove the 6 bolts and reinforcement.

Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)




6. REMOVE UPPER REINFORCEMENT
Remove the 8 bolts and upper reinforcement.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
