Front Seat

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE HEADREST
2. REMOVE SWITCH KNOBS
3. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
a. Remove the 2 screws and slide the seat cushion shield rearward.
b. w/ Memory:
Disconnect the 3 connectors.

c. w/o Memory:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.

4. w/ Memory:
REMOVE MEMORY SWITCH
Remove the 2 screws and memory switch.

5. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH
Remove the 3 screws and power seat switch.

6. REMOVE LUMBER SUPPORT SWITCH
Remove the 2 screws and lumber support switch.

7. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD




8. REMOVE SEATBACK BOARD
Remove the seatback board as shown in the illustration.

HINT: Remove the seatback board in order "A", "B" and "C" as shown in the illustration.




9. REMOVE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the hog rings and disengage the hooks.
b. Disengage the 3 clips of the side airbag wire harness from the seat cushion frame.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and seatback assembly.




10. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER
a. Remove the hook as shown in the illustration.
b. Remove the headrest supports.
c. Remove the hog rings and seatback frame from the seatback cover with pad.
d. Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.

11. REMOVE LUMBER SUPPORT ADJUSTER
Remove the 2 screws and lumber support adjuster.

12. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the clips from the seat cushion frame.
b. Disconnect the connectors.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and seat cushion assembly.

13. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Remove the hog rings, hook and seat cushion frame from seat cushion cover with pad.
b. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

14. w/ Memory:
REMOVE MEMORY RELAY
Remove the 2 screws and memory relay.

15. REMOVE LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD




16. REMOVE REAR VERTICAL MOTOR
Remove the 2 screws and front vertical motor.




17. REMOVE FRONT VERTICAL MOTOR
Remove the 2 screws and rear vertical motor.




18. REMOVE SLIDE MOTOR
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Disconnect the No.1 drive cable, then remove the slide motor.




19. REMOVE RECLINING MOTOR
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Disconnect the No.2 drive cable, then remove the reclining motor.

REASSEMBLY




1. INSTALL RECLINING MOTOR
Connect the No.2 drive cable, then install the reclining motor with 2 screws.




2. INSTALL SLIDE MOTOR
Connect the No.1 drive cable, then install the slide motor with 2 screws.




3. INSTALL FRONT VERTICAL MOTOR
Install the rear vertical motor with 2 screws.




4. INSTALL REAR VERTICAL MOTOR
Install the front vertical motor with 2 screws.

5. INSTALL LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
6. w/ Memory:
INSTALL MEMORY RELAY
Install the memory relay with the 2 screws.

7. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Install the seat cushion cover with new hog rings to seat cushion pad.
b. Install the seat cushion cover with pad to the seat cushion frame with new hog rings.

HINT: When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

8. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Install the seat cushion assembly with 4 bolts.
b. Connect the connectors.
c. Engage the clips to the seat cushion frame.

9. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER
a. Install the seatback cover with new hog rings to the seat- back pad.

HINT: When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

b. Install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame with new hog rings.

HINT: When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.

c. Install the headrest supports.




d. Hang the hook onto the seatback frame.

CAUTION: Take care to hang the hook securely. Otherwise the seat cover slides, it might cause incorrect deploying.

10. INSTALL SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
a. Install the seatback assembly with 4 bolts.
b. Install the 3 clips of the side airbag wire harness to the seat cushion frame.
c. Install a new hog rings and 3 hooks.

HINT: When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.




11. INSTALL SEATBACK BOARD
Install the seatback board as shown in the illustration.

12. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD
13. INSTALL LUMBER SUPPORT SWITCH
Install the lumber support switch with the 2 screws.

14. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH
Install the power seat switch with the 3 screws.

15. W/ Memory:
INSTALL MEMORY SWITCH
Install the memory switch with the 2 screws.

16. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION SHIELD
a. w/ Memory:
Connect the 3 connectors.

b. w/o Memory:
Connect the 2 connectors.

c. Slide the seat cushion shield toward to install it and install the 2 screws.

17. INSTALL SWITCH KNOBS
18. INSTALL HEADREST
