FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY







The shift lever shaft nut has been changed from a normal nut to a precoated nut, and a washer has been added. This nut is a non -reusable part, therefore, it is necessary to replace it with a new one during re-assembly.


APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2001 LS430, GS300, GS430, SC430 MY vehicles prior to April 2001 production date.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Clean Control Shaft
Using a wire brush, remove the adhesive adhered to the control shaft.

2. Install Washer and New Nut
Torque: 19 N-m (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
