To reduce wind noise at the door mirror, the gap between the mirror stay and visor has been improved. The following field fix procedure has been developed for pre-countermeasure vehicles that exhibit the condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2001 model year GS 430/300 vehicles.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:







If there is a gap of 1 mm or more between mirror stay and visor (refer to Fig. 1), apply tape to the mirror visor as shown in







1. Align the end of the tape with the extension cable.
2. Apply the tape to the mirror visor keeping a distance of 3.0 mm from the edge of the mirror stay.
