The following field fix has been developed to assist in addressing situation where a noise is noted in the area of the shift lever bezel

APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2001 model year GS430/300 vehicles.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Refer to the 2001 MY GS Repair Manual Volume 2.

1. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the Shift Lever Bezel from the Cluster Panel.

NOTE:
Tape the head of the screwdriver to prevent scratching.







2. Apply felt as shown in the illustration.
