Introduction





An improvement has been made to the headlamp assembly to reduce the amount of moisture that can accumulate on the inside surface of the headlamp glass.

Applicable Vehicles

2001 - 2002 model year GS 430/300 vehicles produced before the VINs shown below.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Replace and align affected headlamp assemblies following the instructions found in the Body Electrical (BE) section of the 2001 or 2002 GS 430 and GS 300 Repair Manuals Volume 2.
