Introduction
The Software Update (SUW) and Calibration Update (CUW) Wizard Programs allow you to update your tester with latest Software versions and Calibration files for applicable vehicles. This software can be downloaded directly from ETAS to your PC.

From your PC it can then be installed on to the Lexus Diagnostic Tester (TDT).

Required Tools

Process Overview
Downloading and executing of these Programs is a 2-step process for ETAS dealers:
1. Download and install the Software Update Wizard (SUW) and Calibration Update Wizard (CUW) from ETAS to your PC. These applications will allow you to diagnose and if needed, reprogram the latest vehicles using your TDT.
2. Start(execute) the installation procedure by double clicking on the .EXE file that you have just downloaded from ETAS.

Downloading and installing of the Software Update and/or Calibration Update Wizard

1. From the ETAS home page, select "Tools".
2. Then select "Lexus Diagnostic Tester".
3. Depending on the installation, select either Calibration Update Wizard or Software Update Wizard.
4. Select to "Download Calibration Update Wizard or Software Update Wizard Program to PC".
5. Click on the CUWV4R0.EXE for the CUW, or SUWFULL.EXE for the SUW.
6. To download and save the program select either "Save File", "Save" or "OK" (Windows Explorer users, be sure to select to save the file to disk.)

7. Then you will be prompted to select a location to save the file in. This can be any folder you wish. Typically it is saved in a "temp" file within the C:\ drive. (Reynolds C:\ for some). Use the arrow on the far right side of the "Save in" box to display the roll down menu. Select the desired folder. (Don't forget what folder you saved the file in, you will need to access it later.) Once you have identified the correct folder, select "Save".
8. After selecting "Save", the downloading will commence. When it has finished, minimize the Internet Explorer and use the Windows Explorer to locate the "temp" folder which contains the file you just downloaded. (The windows explorer can be accessed through "Start Menu" and then "Programs".
9. Once you have located the file folder, double click on it to open it. The downloaded file CUWV4R0.EXE or SUWFULL.EXE should appear in the file list (depending on which was downloaded from ETAS. The program will begin unpacking and loading onto your system. Follow the prompts as required.
10. The installation may require you to shut down the system, if so, select to finish the procedure, and proceed with the shut down. Allow the system to fully reboot.
11. Both programs will now be available through the "Programs" within "Start menu".
