Rear Seat Assy
OVERHAUL
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY
a. Holding up the front end of the cushion assembly, disengage the clips and pull out the cushion assembly forward to remove it.
A: 100 mm (3.94 in.) or less
NOTE: The cushion frame will be deformed unless holding the clips around the roofs.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSY
a. Using a screwdriver to disengage the clips, pull out the belt from the rear shoulder belt guide RH.
b. Using a screwdriver to disengage the clips, pull out the belt from the rear shoulder belt guide LH.
c. Using a screwdriver to disengage the clips, pull out the belt from the rear shoulder belt guide center.
d. Remove the 4 bolts.
e. Holding up the rear seat back assembly to disengage the hooks, remove the rear seat back assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH
a. Remove the 2 screws and the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE CENTER
a. Remove the 2 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide center.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH
a. Remove the 2 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide LH.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY CENTER
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER
a. Remove the 2 nuts and the center armrest assembly.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seat armrest assembly center.
10. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER
a. Remove the hog rings and the rear seat back cover.
11. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Remove the hog rings and the rear seat cushion cover.
12. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
a. Using hog ring pliers, install the hog rings.
NOTE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as little as possible.
13. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER
Torque: 18.1 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
14. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSY
a. Install the bench type rear seat back assembly with the 4 bolts.
15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY
NOTE: Securely engage the rear seat cushion wire to the pipe child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly.
