SYSTEM OUTLINEAUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL
The automatic light control system works when the light control SW is turned to AUTO. The automatic light control sensor detects the brightness around the vehicle. By this function, the system automatically turns the headlight on if the brightness is below the regular level and turns the headlight off when the surroundings become brighter than the regular level.
LIGHT AUTO TURN OFF
The light auto turn off system automatically turns the taillight or headlight off according to the door open or close on the driver's side, and prevent failing to turn off the lights.
If the ignition SW is turned to OFF from ON with the headlight or taillight is on, the signal is input in the TERMINAL MPX-IG of the driver side J/B ECU. If the driver's side door is opened at that time, the signal from the door courtesy SW LH is sent to the TERMINAL CTY of the door ECU. The signal turns the headlight or taillight off by the multiplex communication control of the gateway ECU and the J/B ECU.
Delayed turn off control
In the case of that some doors are opened, the headlight or taillight is left on for about 30 seconds after the all the doors was closed. However, if the doors are locked using the wireless door lock, the headlight or taillight is immediately turn off.
