REPLACEMENTHINT:

1. REMOVE WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSY [42603/98-46]
a) Remove the 5 nuts and rear wheel.
2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
a) Remove the 10 bolts and wheel hub ornament sub-assy.
3. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH [48840A/98-64]
a) Remove the bolt and nut from the rear suspension arm No. 2 LH.
b) Remove the nut and stabilizer link from the stabilizer bar.
c) Employ the same manner described to the other side.
4. INSPECT REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH [48840A/98-64]
a) As shown, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.
b) Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously one turn per 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
Turning torque: 0.05 - 1.0 Nm (0.5 - 10 kgf-cm, 0.4 - 9 inch lbs.)
5. REMOVE STABILIZER BAR REAR [48812/98-64]
a) Remove the 4 bolts, nuts and disconnect the exhaust pipe.
b) Remove the 8 bolts and rear end body mounting set plate.
c) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 stabilizer bar brackets and stabilizer bar from the suspension member.
d) Remove the 2 bushings from the stabilizer bar.
6. INSTALL STABILIZER BAR REAR [48812/98-64]
a) Install the 2 bushings to the stabilizer bar.
b) Install the stabilizer bar to the suspension member with the 2 stabilizer brackets and 4 bolts.
Torque: 18 Nm (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.)
7. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH [48840A/98-64]
a) Install the stabilizer link to the rear suspension arm assy No. 2 with the bolt and nut.
Torque: 65 Nm (663 kgf-cm, 48 ft. lbs.)
b) Install the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar with the nut.
Torque: 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.)
c) Install the rear bumper side extension sub-assy with the 8 bolts.
Torque: 56 Nm (570 kgf-cm, 29 ft. lbs.)
d) Connect the exhaust pipe with the 4 bolts and nuts.
Torque: 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft. lbs.)
8. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
a) Install the rear wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
9. INSTALL WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSY [42603/98-46]
a) Install the wheel hub ornament sub-assy with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.)
