Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Without LEXUS hand-held tester
Clear the DTC.




1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Using SST, connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3.

3. Within 15 seconds after connecting terminals Tc and CG, change the switch between "Main" and "2nd" 4 cycles or more.
4. Check that the lighting pattern of the tire pressure warning light shows the normal code.
5. Remove the SST from the terminals of DLC3.

With LEXUS hand-held tester
Clear the DTC.

1. Hook up the LEXUS hand-held tester to DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Operate the LEXUS hand-held tester to erase the codes.

HINT: Refer to the LEXUS hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.

4. Remove the LEXUS hand-held tester from the terminals of DLC3.
