Introduction

Some Lexus vehicles may exhibit a condition where the navigation system will no longer function following an update to DVD version 8.1. A special DVD map disc with a revised operating system has been developed to address this condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Order a map disc through DENSO by calling 1-888-285-4236. Provide DENSO this TSIB reference number dealer code and vehicle information when ordering this special map disc.

2. Replace the navigation map disc. Navigation discs are stored inside the Navigation ECU.
