Introduction

Under certain usage conditions, some 2002 - 2003 model year ES 300 vehicles may exhibit front brake vibration. The rotor and pad have been improved to correct this condition. The new rotor and pad must be installed as a set. The revised parts have been introduced into production.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty**:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

** Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

1. R & R the brake pads and rotors following the procedures outlined in the applicable ES 300 Repair Manual.

2. Road test the vehicle.
