SEATBACK BOARD IMPROVEMENT
The front seatback board covers on some 2002 2003 model year ES 300 vehicles may become loose. A production change has been made to the part to improve its fixture to the seatback frame.
APPLICABLE VEHICLES: 2002 - 2003 model year ES 300 produced BEFORE the VIN listed below.

NOTE:
2 new seat clips are included with each seatback board. The clips at the bottom of the back board are not reusable. If an improved board has to be installed again, always use new clips (P/N 71769-33030, quantity 1 per P/N, 2 required per seat back).
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the front seatback board assembly.
a) Disengage the 2 clips at the bottom.
b) Pull the front seatback board downwards and remove.
2. Install the new front seatback board assembly in the reverse order of removal.
