Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL




1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT
a. Using a screwdriver, pry the luggage compartment light out.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the luggage compartment light.

2. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP
Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.




3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear combination light service cover.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.




4. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
Using a screwdriver, remove the door inside handle bezel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




5. REMOVE DOOR TRIM COVER
Remove the 4 clips and door trim cover.




6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR
a. Disconnect the connectors and wire harness clamps.
b. Remove the 4 bolts and door.

Torque: 13 N.m (135 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

7. REMOVE FLOOR MAT
8. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD
a. Remove the clip and deck trim side board.
b. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.




9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
a. Remove the 2 bolts and luggage hold belt strikers.
b. Remove the 5 clips.
c. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear floor finish plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
a. Remove the luggage compartment light.
b. Remove the 2 hooks.
c. w/o Rear A/C or air purifier:
Remove the 3 clips.




d. w/ Rear A/C or air purifier:
Using a screwdriver, remove the cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




e. w/ Rear A/C or air purifier:
Remove the 5 clips.




f. Disengage the trim hooks and remove the front luggage compartment trim cover as shown in the illustration.




11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the side trim tool bag cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the bolt and luggage hold belt striker.




c. Remove the 2 clips and luggage compartment trim side cover.
d. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

12. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL GUARD
13. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER
14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER LOWER COVER
15. REMOVE DOOR STOPPER CUSHION COVER AND DOOR HINGE COVER
16. REMOVE DOOR HINGES
Remove the 4 bolts and door hinges.

Torque: 13 N.m (135 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

17. REMOVE DOOR SUPPORTS

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
