DTC CLEAR

SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM DTC CHECK (USING HAND-HELD TESTER)

Clear the DTCs.
1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.

HINT: Refer to the hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.

FRONT PASSENGER OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DTC CHECK (USING HAND-HELD TESTER)

HINT:
- When the DTC B1650/32 is detected as a result of troubleshooting for the supplemental restraint system, perform troubleshooting for the front passenger occupant classification system.
- Since the DTCs for the front passenger occupant classification system can only be output by the hand-held tester, use the hand-held tester to output the DTCs.

Clear the DTCs.
1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.
