Some customers may experience rattle/squeak noises caused by the moonroof weatherstrip sticking to the body. The design and material of the weatherstrip has been updated to correct this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 model year ES 330 produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:






1. Remove Sliding Roof Rail Covers.
a. Use a screwdriver to release the clip at the front of the rail cover and remove.

NOTE:
Tape the tip of the screwdriver to prevent damage to the cover.


b. Remove the rail cover on the other side.






c. Use the taped screwdriver to release the 2 clips on the moonroof panel side garnish and remove.
d. Remove the side garnish on the other side.

2. Remove Sliding Roof Glass Assembly.
a. Use a Torx wrench (T25) to remove the 4 mounting screws

3. Remove the Sliding Roof Weatherstrip.
a. Remove and replace the sliding roof weatherstrip with new part number 63251-48030.

4. Reassemble Moonroof.
