Compressor/Pump: Service and Repair

HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSY
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL DRYER ASSY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Disconnect the air tube.





c. Remove the 3 bolts, nut and height control compressor assy and height control dryer assy.





d. Remove the bolt and height control dryer assy.
e. Remove the O-ring.





4. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSY
a. Remove the 3 bolts, bushing and bracket from height control compressor assy.





5. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSY
a. Install the bracket and bushing with 3 bolts to height control compressor assy.
Torque: 5.9 Nm (60 kgf-cm, 52 inch lbs.)
6. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL DRYER ASSY
a. Coat the O-ring with MP grease and install it to height control dryer assy.





b. Install the height control dryer assy with a bolt.
Torque: 6.4 Nm (65 kgf-cm, 56 inch lbs.)





c. Install the height control compressor assy and height control dryer assy with 3 bolts and nut.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
d. Connect the air tube.
e. Connect the connector.
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
8. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
9. INSPECT AIR LEAK
