DTC 5 (FIVE) "CODE 5. BACK-UP BATTERY FAILURE"

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

The telephone ECU monitors the portablephone-L battery (backup battery) voltage at terminal SUB BATT. When the voltage drops, this DTC is output.

If the battery is normal and recharged with the ignition switch ON, the DTC will be cleared.

HINT: If DTC is not cleared even through the battery is replaced, replace the telephone ECU (Mayday ECU).
