Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair
CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLYREPLACEMENT
1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
2. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
4. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER
5. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH
8. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 screws.
b. Reverse the steering wheel, remove the 3 screws and cruise control main switch assembly.
c. Disengage the wiring pins other than the cruise control main switch assembly from the connector, and pull them out.
9. CENTER SPIRAL CABLE
10. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
11. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
12. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
13. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
14. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
