OVERHAUL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE RADIATOR LOWER AIR DEFLECTOR
2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY




3. REMOVE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 4 bolts and the headlamp assembly LH.




4. REMOVE HEADLAMP, NO.2 BULB
a. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the headlamp, No.2 bulb.




5. REMOVE HEADLAMP, NO.1 BULB (HALOGEN HEADLAMP)
a. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the headlamp, No.1 bulb.




6. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLAMP BULB (DISCHARGE HEADLAMP)
a. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the rocking cap.




b. Turn the discharge headlamp bulb socket in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the discharge headlamp bulb socket.




c. Release the set spring lock as shown in the illustration and remove the discharge headlamp bulb.




7. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LAMP BULB
a. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the front turn signal lamp bulb and the front turn signal lamp socket as a unit.
b. Remove the front turn signal lamp bulb from the front turn signal lamp socket.




8. REMOVE CLEARANCE LAMP BULB
a. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the clearance lamp bulb and the clearance lamp socket as a unit.
b. Remove the clearance lamp bulb from the clearance lamp socket.




9. REMOVE HEADLAMP LIGHT CONTROL COMPUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 screws and headlamp cover.




b. Remove the 2 screws.




c. Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector and remove the headlamp light control computer sub-assembly.




d. Remove the screw and the clamp.




e. Remove the grommet and then remove the headlamp cord.

10. REMOVE HEADLAMP LEVELING MOTOR




a. Turn the headlamp leveling motor to align the recessed parts with the headlamp unit LH.




b. Disengage the 2 claws and then remove the headlamp leveling motor.

14. HEADLAMP AIMING INSPECTION
15. HEADLAMP AIMING ADJUSTMENT

17. PREPARATION FOR FOG LAMP AIMING
18. FOG LAMP AIMING INSPECTION
19. FOG LAMP AIMING ADJUSTMENT
