For Vehicles Equipped With Vehicle Skid Control (VSC) System
FOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH VEHICLE SKID CONTROL (VSC) SYSTEMNOTE: When using a 2-wheel drum tester such as a speedometer tester or chassis dynamometer, etc., or jacking up the rear wheels and driving the wheels, always use the VSC OFF switch to turn the VSC system OFF.
a. Press the VSC OFF switch.
b. Check that the VSC OFF indicator lamp turns ON.
HINT: The VSC OFF indicator lamp should be always OFF when the engine is restarted.
c. Start measurements.
d. Press the VSC OFF switch again to change the VSC system into operational condition and check that the VSC OFF indicator lamp turns off.
HINT: The SLIP indicator lamp blinks when the VSC system is operational.
