Rear Suspension

ADJUSTMENT
1. INSPECT TIRE
2. INSPECT VEHICLE HEIGHT





3. INSPECT CAMBER (unloaded vehicle)








4. INSPECT TOE-IN (unloaded vehicle)
If the toe-in is not as specified, adjust it at the rack ends.





5. ADJUST CAMBER AND TOE-IN
a. Measure the lengths of the toe control link and rear suspension arm No. 2, as shown in the illustration.
Length: A - B = 4.0 mm (0.16 inch) or less
If the length is not as specified, turn the adjusting cam to adjust the length.





b. Adjust the camber.
1. Loosen the camber adjusting cam nut of the rear suspension arm No. 2.
2. Turn the camber adjust cam No. 1 of the lower suspension arm No. 2 (vehicle front side). Adjust the camber.

HINT: The camber changes about 5.0' (0.08°) with each graduation of the cam.

3. Tighten the camber adjusting cam nut.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,120 kgf-cm, 81 ft. lbs.)





c. Adjust the toe-in.
1. Loosen the camber adjusting cam nut of the toe control link.
2. Turn the camber adjust cam of the toe control link (vehicle rear side). Adjust the toe-in.

HINT: The camber changes about 5.0' (0.08°) with each graduation of the cam.

3. Tighten the camber adjusting cam nut.
Torque: 49 Nm (500 kgf-cm, 36 ft. lbs.)
