(a) OPERATION FLOW CHART

I. IDENTIFICATION OF AFFECTED VEHICLES





A. AFFECTED VIN RANGE

NOTE:
Not all vehicles in the VIN range are affected by this LSC. Always consult Dealer Daily or TIS to confirm VIN eligibility and to assure the LSC is applicable. This will verify the vehicle is involved and has not already been completed by another dealer. TMS warranty will not reimburse dealers for repairs conducted on vehicles that are not affected. This LSC only affects vehicles equipped with the GEN4 navigational system.

III. PREPARATION

A. PARTS

The replacement Navigation DVD will be provided at no cost. To order this DVD, go to http://lexusdvd.imagespm.info/index.cfm. You will need the vehicle VIN to order the DVD. Do not use DVD's from any other sources for this LSC.

IV. WORK PROCEDURE





1. REMOVE THE NAVIGATION ECU COVER

(a) Move the front passenger seat to its most forward position.

(b) Disengage the 2 screws and remove the navigation ECU cover.





2. REPLACE THE NAVIGATION DVD

(a) Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" or "ON" position.





(b) Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the left. This will open the dust cover and eject the DVD.

(c) Remove and discard the old DVD.

(d) Insert the new navigation DVD.





NOTE:
Be sure to install the DVD marked: "DATA ver.04.2"





(e) Press the "PUSH" button and slide it to the right. This will close the dust cover.





3. REINSTALL THE NAVIGATION ECU COVER

(a) Reinstall the navigation ECU cover and reinstall the 2 screws.

(b) Return the front passenger seat to its original position.

4. VERIFY THAT THE SEARCH AREA IS SET TO THE LOCAL AREA AS DESCRIBED IN THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM OWNER'S MANUAL

5. PROCEED TO LSC COMPLETION LABEL INSTALLATION.
