LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH

Luggage Compartment Door Opener Main Switch:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH
7. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH
9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH





a. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door opener main switch.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MAIN SWITCH





a. Engage the 2 claws and install the luggage compartment door opener main switch.

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH
3. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH
5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTICE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.

11. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
