DESCRIPTION




The interior light control of the illuminated entry system is controlled by the main body ECU. The operation and condition of this control are described.

HINT: When any of the lights do not illuminate, perform the inspection according to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. When all of the lights (interior light, front seat illumination, rear seat illumination, and rear door courtesy lights) do not illuminate, perform the ACTIVE TEST of the illuminated entry system. If it is normal, there may be a malfunction in the door courtesy switch circuit, door lock position switch circuit, or engine switch circuit.
