Diagnosis System

DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

1. BUS CHECK




a. Select "BUS CHECK" from the "OBD/MOBD MENU" screen.

HINT: The ECUs and sensors that are properly connected to the CAN communication system can be displayed using the intelligent tester via CAN VIM.




b. Press "ENTER" on the intelligent tester.




c. The screen displays the ECUs and sensors that are properly connected to the CAN communication system.

HINT: There is a communication stop in the system of any properly connected ECUs or sensors that are not displayed.

2. CHECK FOR INSTALLED SYSTEMS (ECUS AND SENSORS) THAT ADOPT CAN COMMUNICATION

a. Systems (ECUs, sensors) that adopt CAN communication vary depending on the vehicle's optional settings. Check which systems (ECUs, sensors) are installed on the vehicle.

3. DTC TABLE BY ECU

HINT:
- In the CAN communication system, CAN communication system DTCs can be displayed by the ECU using the intelligent tester.
- If CAN communication system DTCs are output, trouble cannot be determined only by the DTCs. Perform troubleshooting according to "HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING".




a. ECM

HINT:
- DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.
- Distance control ECU data is also output.




b. SKID CONTROL ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




c. COMBINATION METER

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




d. GATEWAY ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




e. MAIN BODY ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




f. AFS ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




g. SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.




h. MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

HINT: DTC communication uses the CAN communication system.

i. CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR

HINT: The center airbag sensor is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

j. STEERING ANGLE SENSOR

HINT: The steering angle sensor is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

k. YAW RATE SENSOR

HINT: The yaw rate sensor is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

l. OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU

HINT: The outer mirror control ECU sensor is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

m. CERTIFICATION ECU

HINT: The certification ECU is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

n. MULTI-DISPLAY

HINT: The multi-display is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

o. CLEARANCE WARNING ECU

HINT: The clearance warning ECU is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

p. SEAT POSITION CONTROL ECU (FRONT LH SIDE)

HINT: The seat position control ECU (front LH side) is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.

q. SEAT POSITION CONTROL ECU (FRONT RH SIDE)

HINT: The seat position control ECU (front RH side) is connected to the CAN communication system, but CAN communication DTCs are not output.
