Introduction
2007 model year ES 350 vehicles are equipped with a U660E (6-speed) transaxle. These transaxles are tested and marked with an automatic transaxle compensation value to improve drivability and reduce the amount of time needed to complete the Transmission Control Module (TCM) "Learning" process.
CAUTION:
The transaxle compensation value registration process MUST be performed anytime one of the following components are replaced:
^ Transaxle
^ Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Failure to follow the procedure below may lengthen the time to complete the TCM "Learning" process, potentially resulting in performance concerns.
Applicable Vehicles:
^ 2007 model year ES 350 vehicles equipped with the U660E (6-speed) automatic transaxle.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2007 model year ES 350 Repair Manual: U660E Automatic Transaxle: Automatic Transaxle System: Manual Shifting Test, Registration.
NOTE:
If the transaxle is installed in the vehicle and the QR Code Label cannot be read, it may be necessary to remove the battery and battery tray to access the QR Code Label.
