PRECAUTION

NOTE: When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

1. INSPECTION PRECAUTION FOR LEXUS LINK SYSTEM
a. When the Mayday battery runs low, the Mayday ECU sets DTC 6-1. Perform troubleshooting according to the malfunction indicated by 6-1.

2. WHEN REPLACING MAYDAY ECU
a. If replacement of the ECU is necessary, replace the Mayday battery (backup battery) together with the ECU. After the replacement, register the ECU.
