REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH
5. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH





6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the clip.
c. Remove the 3 bolts and mirror.

7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





a. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws and 2 clips.
b. Remove the mirror.

HINT: Apply protective tape to the mirror body.





c. Using a small screwdriver, disconnect the connectors.





8. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR VISOR
a. Remove the 4 screws and mirror visor.





9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the mirror light.





10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and 3 clips.
b. Remove the mirror cover.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.





1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER
a. Attach the claw and 3 clips to install the mirror cover.





2. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Install the mirror light.





3. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR VISOR
a. Install the mirror visor with the 4 screws.

4. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Connect the connectors.





b. Attach the 2 claws and clips to install the mirror.





5. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the mirror with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)

b. Attach the clip.
c. Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER LH
8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
