Interior Lighting Relay: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
4. REMOVE INTEGRATION RELAY
a. Remove the engine room No. 2 junction block cover.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and disconnect the integration relay from the engine room No. 2 junction block.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
c. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL INTEGRATION RELAY
a. Connect the 3 connectors.
b. Attach the integration relay to the engine room No. 2 junction block.
c. Install the engine room No. 2 junction block cover.
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
