Introduction
Some customers may experience a condition where the voice recognition component of the navigation system will add additional words or phrases when responding to a city or street name input via voice recognition. A special DVD map disc with a revised operating system has been developed to remedy this condition.
Applicable Vehicles
^ 2007 model year ES 350, GS 350/430/450h, GX 470, IS 250/350, and RX 350/400h vehicles equipped with the Lexus Navigation System and produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown in this TSIB.
Parts Information
The navigation map disc MUST be ordered through the Denso Exchange Program by calling 1-888-668-2900 to qualify for warranty coverage.
Warranty Information
Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure
1. Order a map disc through DENSO by calling 1-888-668-2900. Provide DENSO the TSIB reference number, dealer code, and vehicle information when ordering this special map disc.
2. Replace the navigation map disc.
Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), 2007 model year applicable model Repair Manual,

3. Cut the original navigation map disc in half and dispose of it.
Identification Method
The map disc supplier part number changed to 464210-0792. Refer to the illustration to locate the supplier's part number (directly below the OEM part number).
