ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION1. CHECK WINDOW LOCK SWITCH
a. Check that the passenger side power window and rear power windows are disabled when the window lock switch of the multiplex network master switch is pressed.
b. Check that the passenger side power window and rear power windows can be operated when the window lock switch is pressed again.

6. CHECK JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION
HINT: The jam protection function helps prevent any parts of your body from being caught by accident between door frame and the door glass during power window operation.
NOTICE: If the power window motor has just been reset, raise and lower the door glass several times manually before performing the check.
a. Check that the door glass moves down approximately 50 mm (1.97 in.) immediately if something gets caught between the door frame and door glass during power window operation. However, when the opening between the door frame and the door glass is less than 200 mm (7.87 in.), the door glass continues to go down and does not stop until an opening of 200 mm (7.87 in.) is achieved.
Operative conditions:
- AUTO UP (ALL DOORS)
- AUTO UP/ MANUAL UP function after the engine switch is turned off (ALL DOORS)
- MANUAL UP function using the driver side door lock key cylinder
7. CHECK PTC OPERATION
HINT: PTC operation is a function that prevents overloading of the power window regulator by stopping the motor. PTC operation activates when the power window regulator switch is operated for a predetermined amount of time.
a. Pull up and hold a power window switch for more than 90 seconds. Release the switch.
b. Check that pressing the switch does not move the window.
c. Wait until 60 seconds have passed since the switch was released in the first step above. Check that pressing the switch results in normal window movement.
8. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION USING DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK KEY CYLINDER
a. Check that all of the power windows and the sliding rood operate as follows.
9. CHECK MANUAL DOWN FUNCTION USING KEY
a. Check that all of the power windows and the sliding rood operate as follows when operating the transmitter.
HINT: As a signal to begin the operation, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once (answer-back).
10. CHECK POWER WINDOW OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER ENGINE SWITCH IS TURNED OFF
a. When the following condition is fulfilled, check that the power windows can be operated even after the engine switch is turned off.
1. All doors are closed for 43 seconds after the engine switch is turned off.
