ABS (Antilock Brake System)

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

HINT:
- If a trouble code is displayed during the DTC check, inspect the trouble areas listed for that code. For details of the code, refer to the respective "DTC No." in the DTC Chart.
- Inspect the fuses and relays before investigating the trouble areas as shown in the table.

HINT:
- In some cases, the intelligent tester cannot be used when ABS warning light remains on.
- When U0073/94, U0293/59, U0123/62, U0124/95, U0126/ 63, U0130/68 or U0131/67 is output, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by these codes first.
- Even after the trouble areas are repaired, the ABS warning light will not go off unless the following operations are performed.

a. Drive the vehicle at the speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) and depress the brake pedal strongly for approximately 3 seconds.
b. Repeat the above operation 3 times or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
c. Clear the DTC.
