a. The following procedures clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
1. When using the intelligent tester:
Operate the intelligent tester. (Refer to the operator's manual for operating instructions.)

2. When not using the intelligent tester:
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
