REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP






a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.






b. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.






2. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 claws and remove the bezel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.






3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 10 clips and cover.






4. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the screw and door lock opener.






5. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and door closer.






6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and lock cylinder.

7. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY






a. Disconnect the connector.






b. Remove the 2 screws and opening switch.

8. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE






14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT






15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER RH






16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER LH
a. Remove the 2 clips and compartment trim side cover LH.






17. REMOVE TOOL BOX






18. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hooks.
b. Remove the 3 clips labeled A.
c. Detach the 4 clips to remove the finish plate.

19. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT






a. Detach the hook.






b. Remove the rope hook.






c. Remove the 3 clips.
d. Detach the 4 claws and remove the trim cover.






20. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH
a. Remove the 5 clips and trim cover.






21. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH
a. Remove the 5 clips and trim cover.






22. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the striker connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and striker.

INSTALLATION

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.






1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOORS STRIKER ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the connector.
b. Install the striker with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)






2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH
a. Install the trim cover with the 5 clips.






3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH
a. Install the trim cover with the 5 clips.

4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT






a. Attach the 4 claws to install the trim cover.
b. Install the 3 clips.






c. Attach the hook.






d. Install the rope hook.






5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
a. Install the finish plate with the 4 clips.
b. Install the 3 clips labeled A.
c. Install the 2 bolts and 2 hooks on the both side.






6. INSTALL TOOL BOX






7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER LH
a. Install the compartment trim side cover LH with the 2 clips.






8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER RH






9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY
11. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
12. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
13. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
16. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY






a. Install the opening switch to the luggage compartment door with the 2 screws.






b. Connect the connector.






17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the connect.
b. Install the lock cylinder with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)






18. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY
a. Connect the connect.
b. Install the door closer with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)






19. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the door lock opener with the screw.






20. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK OPENER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the cover with the 10 clips.

21. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
a. Attach the 4 claws to install the bezel.

22. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP






a. Install the assist grip with the 2 screws.






b. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

23. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
24. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
