RADIATOR GRILLE

Radiator Grille:

REMOVAL

HINT: When removing the emblem, heat the vehicle body and emblem using a heat light.






NOTICE: Do not heat the vehicle body and emblem excessively.






1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR
a. Using a clip remover, detach the 15 clips and remove the protector.






2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOULDING
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
b. Detach the 6 claws and remove the screw and moulding.






3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
b. Detach the 5 claws and remove the radiator grille.






4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
a. Put protective tape around the emblem.
b. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and emblem.
c. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.
d. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the emblem to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
- If reusing the emblem, take care not to damage the emblem.
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

e. Remove the emblem.

5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)






a. Remove the 2 spring nuts.






b. Detach the 2 claws and remove the emblem.

INSTALLATION

HINT: When installing the emblem, heat the vehicle body and emblem using a heat light.






NOTICE: Do not heat the vehicle body and emblem excessively.






1. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
a. Clean the vehicle body surface.
1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
2. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

b. If reusing the emblem:
Clean the emblem.
1. Using a heat light, heat the emblem.
2. Remove the double-sided tape from the emblem.
3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
4. Apply new double-sided tape to the emblem.

c. Install the emblem.
1. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and emblem.
2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the emblem.

HINT: After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

3. Install the emblem.

2. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)






a. Attach the 2 claws to install the emblem.






b. Install the 2 spring nuts.






3. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
a. Attach the 5 claws to install the radiator grille.
b. Install the 2 clips.






4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER MOULDING
a. Attach the 6 claws to install the moulding.
b. Install the 2 clips and screw to the moulding.






5. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR
a. Attach the 15 clips to install the protector.
