TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the radio receiver.





3. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Disconnect the ECU connector.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
(a) Install the tire pressure monitor ECU with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)
(b) Connect the ECU connector.
2. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the radio receiver.
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. INITIALIZATION SYSTEM
(a) Perform the initialization.

NOTICE:
Be sure to inflate all tires (including the grand spare tire) to the proper inflation pressure before initialization.

5. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM
(a) Inspect the tire pressure warning system.
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform the initialization.

HINT:
Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
