READ DATA LIST

HINT: According to the DATA LIST displayed on the intelligent tester, the value and status of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. can be obtained without part removal. Reading the DATA LIST as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

a. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
b. Turn the power switch ON (IG) and press the intelligent tester main switch ON.
