INITIALIZATION1. RESET MEMORY
NOTICE:
^ If either the hybrid transmission assembly or hybrid vehicle control ECU is replaced, initialize the learned value of RESET MEMORY.
^ Wait 1 minute after disconnecting the negative battery terminal before reset memory.
^ The RESET MEMORY can be performed only with the Intelligent tester.
HINT:
Disconnecting the negative battery terminal does not initialize (clear) the learned value.
(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (READY) and turn the intelligent tester on.
NOTICE:
Check that the shift lever is in the P position and turn the power switch on (READY).
(c) Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS/ OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / DATA LIST. Read the data list before RESET MEMORY.

NOTICE:
^ Do not depress the accelerator pedal during reset memory.
^ Do not move the shift lever from the P position.
^ If the specified conditions above are not satisfied, warm up the engine with the power switch on (READY) until each data meets the specified condition.
(d) Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS/ OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / TRANSMISSION / RESET MEMORY.
NOTICE:
During reset memory, do not turn off either the power switch or the intelligent tester.

Approximately 1 minute is required to complete reset memory.
